Proforma invoice is sent automatically after your order. Once payment is completed, the invoice is automatically issued and sent by email.

Refunds in case of the cancellation between 01.05.2020 - 30.06.2020

  • for payment made before 01.05.2020 - 50% refund minus 50 € handling fee
  • for payment made between 01.05.2020 - 30.06.2020:
    - 100% refund minus 50 € handling fee in case of withdrawal to 10 days from the date of payment,
    - 50% refund minus 50 € handling fee in case of withdrawal to 15 days from the date of payment,
    - no refund in case of withdrawal to 20 days from the date of payment.

Refunds in case of the cancellation between 01.07.2020 - 31.08.2020

  • for payment made before 01.05.2020 - 10% refund minus 50 € handling fee
  • for payment made between 01.05.2020 - 30.06.2020 - 10% refund minus 50 € handling fee
  • for payment made between 01.07.2020 - 31.08.2020:
    - 50% refund minus 50 € handling fee in case of withdrawal to 5 days from the date of payment,
    - 25% refund minus 50 € handling fee in case of withdrawal to 7 days from the date of payment,
    - no refund in case of withdrawal to 10 days from the date of payment.

Cancellation policy

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the ETCC2020 Registration Department by e-mail. The notification must include all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted.

Refunds will be made in the same form as the original transaction. For original payments made by bank transfer, the cancellation notification or refund request must indicate all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted. Credit will not be given for unattended events or early termination of attendance. Requests for refunds of any additional items ordered (such as the Summer School and the congress dinner) will not be accepted.


In the case of overpayment or double payment, refund requests (including all relevant information regarding the bank account if applicable) must be made in writing and sent by e-mail, no later than 15 August 2020. A handling fee of EUR 50 will be charged. The refund will not be effective until a written acknowledgment from the JORDAN Congress BUREAU is received.

The terms of cancellation are applicable in all circumstances, including if a visa is officially refused to the participant and/or accompanying person.
We strongly advise all participants to start their visa application as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment.

Cancellation of the congress

In the event that the congress cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the congress organizers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the congress organizers, the congress organizers cannot be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses, etc.

Under these circumstances, the congress organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future congress, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the congress and which could not be recovered from third parties.

Change of name

A name change fee of EUR 50 will be charged for every name change to an existing registration. A new registration form for the substitute delegate should NOT be submitted. Name changes will be accepted by e-mail and should indicate the old and new names and any changes in contact information.  In case of a name change, the delegate agrees to take over all booked items of the originally registered delegate.
